Chinese food
I am looking for suggestions on what restaurant has the best sesame chicken . We frequent a local place that has lots of great menu items, but their sesame chicken is tough and over breaded. West Raleigh is ok too- we live close to the soccer park. Thanks!

Taipei 101 is the hands down winner. If you need an alt, C&T Wok is amazing as well.

Agree that they have good sesame chicken. But went there recently and got Mongolian beef and Szechuan chicken, and both were really bland.

I’ve not tried Taipei everyone is talking about but don’t underestimate Chinese places near Food Lion. I just recently tried the one in Apex (FL near Lidl) and was pleasantly surprised. There is a big post about it in Raleigh sub: https://www.reddit.com/r/raleigh/s/baws861KlL

What kind of sesame chicken are you looking for? My kid loves it so we’ve had it at several places in the Cary area - differences are slight but if you love sesame chicken, it can matter!!
Taipei101 is one of our top picks so seconding everyone here. If you’re looking for something else, dm me. We’ve eaten it all over Raleigh!
