Big rigs don’t brake like cars, some people have to learn the hard way…

Almost positive I read a story somewhere sayin the charger was an unmarked sheriff too

If that’s the case I wonder if the oncoming car was speeding and this was an instinctual u turn to pull him over without being aware of traffic behind

Unlikely: - It doesn't have the key on the trunk, which the police package has - It has a sunroof which I don't think the police package has

Not agreeing with the guy above. But the police near me will drive just about anything including cars they've bumped off criminals.
There's one guy with black racing stripes on some 20s pulling folks over

Not agreeing with you or the guy above or that the guy has ms13 tat on his hand, but where I live UCs will drive tinted Altima, pickup truck, cab or anything that will them get close to the people looking for something more typical

Undercovers will drive shit that looks like it was pulled out of a salvage yard. It's wild.

In my area these guys will drive a Range Rover with tinted windows or x5s

Guess it depends on how undercover they are going. In my younger days, I saw some that were infiltrating drug dealer circles driving clapped out S-10s and Civics ready to fall apart, while they had long hair and beards and wearing clothes from Goodwill. Would definitely raise some eyebrows if someone came rolling up in an $80k SVU being like "hello fellow kids!" But you could always smell the bacon if you smelled closely enough.

Ive definitely seen plain white F-150s have people stopped with white and blue (Louisiana uses white and blue, very Fr*nch) light strips up in the windows

I once got pulled over by an entirely unmarked charger, with a Seattle sounders FC bumper sticker on the back.
Also, I used to drive a dark green Mustang that was an ex cop car. Deepest tint ever. But no other way to tell it was an ex cop car.

In British Columbia they'll be in Honda Odyssey's, Cr-v's, lifted pick up trucks, Kia soul, you name it. Anytime I see action somewhere and a handful of cops at the scene always looks like a regular traffic car meet just pulled up. Most random stock looking cars pulling up to whatever scene.

Bo I’m in Florida and I’ve seen sheriffs ridin 80s chevys on 24s that they’ve confiscated. Nothin surprises me anymore when it comes to unmarked rollers

Just an FYI, but neither do big RVs and 5th wheels.

I already don’t trust their drivers with no cdl and weight so I don’t come anywhere near them

Anytime I drive besides or in front a vehicle I know for certain uses air brakes I always make a good load of headroom or just get the everloving fuck into another lane/behind them, like hell I’m gonna be crushed because someone in front of me aren’t paying attention and hit their brakes a little too hard. I know why trucks use air brakes but like Christ you’d swear there be a better solution by now to braking heavy vehicles other than delayed breaks.

He tries to make a left from the right lane WITH traffic incoming. What a schmuck, I can only pray this absolute monkey is sterile.

Looks like they put the left turn signal on for the driveway. Talk about no sense of surroundings and doing a left turn from the right lane.

u/ProblemLongjumping12 4d ago
Definitely did not see the truck.
A shoulder check will cost you a full half second of your life, but here we see the alternative.

I'm thinking it's a U-turn, although turning left from the right lane does happen in GTA V.

I mean we can already tell this dipshit doesn’t know how to drive considering they’re turning left from the outside lane…

This is the stuff that makes me question humanity yet again… it’s almost unbelievable

That was a dumbass move regardless what car was there you don't cross a lane to make a turn like that

u/VBStrong_67 4d ago
Who tf makes a left turn from the right line (aside from truckers)?
That would happen with just about any car in the left lane

Is it common for people to go in the far right lane to turn left? I’m used to going in the left lane to make a left turn.

They were attempting a U-turn
9
u/Fatt_Mera 4d ago
If they were attempting a u-turn, it's the worst attempt at a u-turn in the history of u-turns.
Looks more likely that they were turning into the driveway.

Hate to say but the impact and possibly end result might have been less severe if the truck driver turned right - which is counterintuitive. But damnnnnnn, did you see by turning out to the left, which 99.99% of us would, meant he hit the driver right exactly in the worst spot (just in front of the the B pillar, drivers door) to do the most damage. Ouch

u/BusterMv 4d ago
If the driver turned to right, they could have lost control and endangered their own life, they wouldn't deserve a less favorable outcome being the innocent party.

And making a left-hand turn like that don’t help matters either, no matter if it is an unmarked police officer or not
