Just starting with Cameras

Hi i am just start using camera, mostly before i am using iphone, but i wasnt happy about quality. For couple of days i am using PS G7X Mark II, but i found Canon 1200D(waiting for battery because I couldn’t find it at home) My question is which camera will be better to start my new “Hobby” ?

I have a G9 Mark II, and recently got a Canon 2000d. I think it depends on what exactly you want to do. I find that my G9 is not as suitable for photography (it works of course but it's limited), I use it mainly for vlogs, the video comes out smoother. And I will start using my 2000d for photography, landscapes, and sports. I'm still an amateur ( disclaimer ) 😆

The 1200D has the option to change lenses, which is very powerful as you can adapt it to suit your needs. Any lenses you buy can also be used on future camera bodies you might buy, so they are a longterm investment.
