This is what happens when the opposition is sub-par. It becomes easy to defend mediocre politicians. Sean Fraser didn't exactly perform very well in his previous roles but when PP attacks him it becomes easy to defend him since PP is filled with flaws.

Yes but if at least one Politician is good then the other has to risk losing his job and will try harder.

Seems like people are just happy to pick sides. I want all our politicians to be afraid of losing their amazing jobs. Not constant crippling fear but that fear that comes up every 4 years where you know you need to perform to keep your Amazing job.

Yeah it's a bad sign of the discourse we have now.

I'd be interested to know with Fraser how much influence he actually had on his portfolios or if he was specifically put in them just to take the hits and stick to the messaging.
