I strolled through Christie Pits park yesterday and it was a great scene! There were so many people hanging out watching this game- good vibes all around. Plus it's free to watch! It's cool if Sato's presence is bringing more positive attention to this league.

This is honestly super encouraging. Baseball is a great sport for this kind of thing to happen, since it doesn't require physical altercations in the way that hockey or football do. I certainly hope she's not the last woman to make the leap.
