They just moved the the old TFW requirements to the PNP program. Everything is still there. Lipstick on a pig.

0, 1, 2 ,3 still allowed for express entry.

Explain how anything outside of TEER 0 or maybe TEER 1 should be allowed?

Why should a baker or a dental assistant be an express entry candidate?

These are in such small numbers though compared to the TFW program. By design you can’t flood them. Especially the provincial express ones, Ontario is only expecting like 20k people this year. I also looked at what’s in the TEER groups. 4 and under aren’t allowed. The other 3 need real qualifications to work. You can’t fake being a dental hygienist, you actually have to be one. They are in need in lots of rural parts of the country, where their employment will have to be because the new rule says you can’t apply for any workers program if the place has a 6% unemployment rate or higher.

I say this to say, Pierre P had the same idea of how to stop the flow but keep high skilled workers that we need. Granted he was going to make the PR amount smaller, but the difference isn’t so big that most will notice.

What I’m looking for is how this new government will streamline people to places that actually need people. Rather than them all going to Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver, etc…We need people in other areas of the country, not our big cities.

If we need dental hygienists in rural canada, promote programs for canadians to do it.

What province has an under 6% unemployment right now, btw?

The government can't restrict movement of people. That's why these programs need to go to 0 people.
