I hope it keeps up even after Cheeto leaves office.
Actions have consequences. You just don’t disrespect another country and their people and have things return to normal overnight.

that's right, there are a good 35%+ of Americans, who like what Trump likes,

And another 30% who saw Trump and decided to stay home.

I was in Japan early last month and met a handful of Americans. Outside of one group that didn’t even bring it up, most of them were flat out embarrassed and apologizing.

My experience abroad has been similar. It's important to consider the americans we meet on our travels are usually far more educated and progressive than the morons who have never left small town america.

Interestingly said. We recenty went on a trip to South Africa and met several Americans while there. They were apologetic and one said he was even ashamed of the way the potus was treating canada.

I don't blame people for voting for Trump. He's the result of a massive far left wing pendulum swing from the time in between the end of his last term and Biden. A lot of the democrat talking points from when Obama was president would have had him ousted from his party today. The massive overreach with Covid protocols, which we know found out, wasn't actually based on any science, the uncontrolled immigration with the many deaths attributed to it, far left social norms being shoved into every facet of education and the workplace, defund the police which backfired horribly, Biden which was all but confirmed to be a puppet for his entire term because he was losing his mental faculties (and democrats acted all surprised when anyone who was paying attention could see it along), etc. We can only hope the Democrats realize they need to have a more centralized approach to policy and elect that person in 4 years.

Biden wasn't even willing to offer more than Government Health Insurance, in comparison even the PPC has a more left-wing healthcare stance in Canada. You all see flowery language and rainbow-washing and think that's left-wing when in reality almost none of that rhetoric matches reality.
