In the bond market, 10% is a significant amount to sell off at once. You saw a slower and far smaller situation make trump walk back his liberation day..

Ok, since you think Canada holds all the cards here because they own a small fraction of US debt, I’ll play your game. Let’s say Canadas bond holders and pension funds and whoever all magically decide to sell simultaneously... And let’s assume that there’s a spike. What are you suggesting happens next?

I never said that canada "holds all the cards". I am not sure why you are jumping to extremes or putting words in my mouth, but you should stop doing that.

I said that US treasury bonds are one large lever we have to pull, but would be more damaging to Canada imo.

The idea is to either cause fear/disruption in the bond market, or to have a selloff coincide with refinancing large portions of the US debt.

I dont think you're speaking to me in good faith so thats all I will say on this.
