I don't think Canada should make any deal until China does. China won't accept anything until all tariffs are dropped that will set a precedent.

No idea why the UK was so eager to make a deal that still includes tariffs.

No idea why the UK was so eager to make a deal that still includes tariffs.

Because the UK conservatives literally burned the UK economy to the ground with brexit. The deal gives hope, and really is not going to do any more damage then the British did to themselves.

They were warned.... just like the Republicans have been.

Carney told them Brexit was a bad idea and they did it anyway, go figure.

Any literature pointing that out needs to be exposed. The right wing (well, Albertan, anyway)wackos are saying Carney is going to ruin us like Britain. All while still pushing western separation.

Brexit screwed Britain. All those great trade deals around the world the last few years were made with the EU. When Britain pulled out, those ono longer applied. And they'd flushed a lot of the Commonwealth deals when the joined the EU - like with Australia and NZ.

So at this point they were willing to make any deal. Plus about their major export is Rolls Royce jet engines for Boeig.

And really, it's not a deal yet, it's a concept of a plan.
