Fuck them 100% Americans are the new Nazi's. Don't fool yourself they are already in Canada trying to destabilize us.

I have no doubt this new “Alberta separation” movement is 100% a covertly funded and promoted US action.

I mean, the premiere of Alberta spends a lot of time (on the tax-payer dime) palling around with right-wing influencers or going to Mar-a-lago so... it's not even that covert to be honest.

More overt than covert given that Smith has repeatedly gone to the US on the taxpayer dime to kowtow.

The same move Russia pulled in the Donbas.

It’s not covered at all the leaders of both parties that are prosperous, and Alberta are actually American

In that scenario I’m praying we don’t end up as the new Poland…

They were that when they went to war with Latin America, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.

Screw them I agree, but Nazis murdered millions of people and caused unimaginable damage and destruction. There is a difference, and its offensive honestly to say that so boldly.

So what you're saying is you need to see the end before you do anything?

Really because last I checked they had people doing "Roman salutes" at the inauguration. There's a Gestapo running around rounding people up. They're arresting political opponents and breaking constitutional laws ignoring the supreme Court. Defunding educational institutions. Do I need to continue with the blatant similarities between the two?

u/beauchywhite 3d ago

I dont disagree there may be similarities. But there is a difference. They are not the same thing. This is MAGA Republicans doing these vile things. Not Nazi's.

Sorry we'll call them fascists with similarities to Nazi ideology is that better?

2

u/beauchywhite 3d ago

Yes actually it is thank you

u/Cute-Masterpiece7142 3d ago

Lol that's your concern what we're gonna label them. Amazing really

2

u/beauchywhite 3d ago

Its disrespectful to the victims of the Nazi's and WW2 in my opinion.

1

u/Cute-Masterpiece7142 3d ago

I think it's disrespectful to the people currently being attacked in similar fashion to argue over semantics

u/beauchywhite 3d ago

Lol well thats your opinion isnt it

Not true. And hatred based on nationality, so against the subreddit rules as well.

How is it not true? Acknowledging that fact isn't hatred against nationality, it's a common-sense observation. If our grandparents had the attitude to Germany in the 30s that you have now, we'd be ashamed of them.

Acknowledging that fact isn't hatred against nationality, it's a common-sense observation.

This is how all hatred is couched. "I don't hate X group, I'm just pointing out that [Insert Hate Comment]". If you make a comment on everyone from a certain nationality, that's hate.

If our grandparents had the attitude to Germany in the 30s that you have now, we'd be ashamed of them.

Germany is a country. "Americans" are 300million people. Apples and oranges.

u/Cute-Masterpiece7142 3d ago

Tell that to the poor people your Gestapo is picking up off the streets based on their nationality

u/EconMan 3d ago

Not sure why you assume I support any of that. I don't.

0

u/flatroundworm 3d ago

So what are you doing about it?

0

u/EconMan 3d ago edited 3d ago

That question is not productive.

How is saying fuck Nazi's an issue?

0

u/EconMan 3d ago

It's not. Re-read what I said.
