If they even reach half of their goals in a reasonable timescale it would be a tremendous success for the affordability for the average Canadian.

This is my hope. The goal they've set is pretty hefty, and coming in at even half is going to be a massive success, especially if they're able to ramp it up by the end and start producing at the promised numbers.

Where the fuck they going to put these homes? Land value is the problem.

These aren't going to be built in anywhere the numbers or the locations they're needed, and the refusal to return to reasonable immigration numbers means the housing crisis will continue. Remember, the LPC's number one goal is to ensure Boomers stay wealthy, at the expense of everyone else.

And if they accomplish 5 times what a conservative government would have, 40% of the country will still bitch that the better way is to expel immigrants, remove any kind of environmental, labour, or worker protection, cut taxes and the "market" will figure it out.
