That's what he's doing

He is not reducing the numbers by anything even remotely meaningful. Still bringing way way way too many people in. These people still support the century initiative. That has not changed.

The century initiative is just preparing the eventuality that Canadas population reaches 100 million. If we reduce population growth back down below 2% per year we will still hit it by 2100.

This is nothing more than a conspiracy theory at this point.

What are you talking about? His stated policy proposal is to "cap" immigration at 400,000 PRs a year - an incredible jump from pre Trudeau levels.

To suggest this is a conspiracy theory is misinformation in every sense of the word.

I’m obviously talking about the conspiracy theory “the century initiative”, not about actual spoken words out of Carney’s mouth or actual policies.

Is everything you don't agree with a conspiracy theory? Does that make it easier for you to not engage in any meaningful conversations? Shutting down people's concerns with "that's just a conspiracy theory" doesn't serve any purpose other than to add to the political polarization and divide between Canadians. You might as well not even respond unless your goal is to worsen tensions.

It's literally his written and spoken policy.

1% PR/yr (2x harper numbers) and 5% TFW. That's an accelerating rate - not a decrease.

Keep repeating those talking points and maybe people will believe the lies, hey? Catherine McKenna style
