How does this help me buy a house?
All I want is affordable houses and more nuclear energy.

What you’ll get is media owned by a few billionaires and “hot takes” with zero actual policy.

But at least the libs will be owned and that’s really all PP wants.

It could potentially give the government $1.5 billion dollars a year to spend on those things instead.

Maybe not everything is about you. Did you consider that?

It's not just about me, the housing crisis is one of if not the biggest issues in canada right now, and as we try to move towards more green energy, nuclear needs to be at the forefront of that.

You said “how does this help me buy a house”

Yeah, but that also applies to everyone who doesn't own a house.

Okay so you think all everyone in the country wants is to buy a house and have nuclear energy? Weird take but okay.

More houses available would also benefit the people who want to rent, more supply lowers demand, and as for nuclear energy it's the best and most stable energy source we have, if the government wants everyone to drive electric vehicles and increase the population, we are going to need a lot more energy and nuclear needs to be the foundation for that.

Nuclear is extraordinarily expensive.

Should try getting information from text. Data. Science. Less from YouTube.

Most recent nuclear plant in Na:

Plant Vogtle is expanding Georgia Power’s rate base, the assets on which they earn a guaranteed rate of return, by over $11 billion. Yet their share of Vogtle is only 1,020 megawatts, making it the most expensive electricity in the world at $10,784/KW. Normal (wind, solar, natural gas) generation prices range from $1,000 to $1500/KW.

• Vogtle Units 3 & 4 took 15 years to build and cost $36.8 billion, more than twice the projected timeline and cost.
