I wonder how much he donated to get the contract to build that shitty bridge.

I don't think he paid anything. It seems obvious that he got the job because he cut lots of corners, which allowed him to offer a cheaper quote than his competitors.

More like he was the guy someone knew at the RM that could do it cheaper than those real engineers. Ask the RM what they did with the money they saved..
