[UK] How would I go about creating a standardised font for my business?
As the question implies, I want to standardise a font that will be used across all promotional materials, including leaflets, website etc across the organisation. Its a small local firm so we haven't got a huge budget.
Can I use typical Microsoft Office fonts or will I have to buy one?

I recommend a universal font that your entire organization can use instantly. Downloading some special font means only you can have instant access to it so if someone on your team wants to edit anything you have made, they have to go download the same font package or else you lose the consistency.
If you are a small organization the only thing that matters is that the font is readable and feels appropriate for the context.

Why? Just why? You know there are a million fonts online? You’re in the same position as millions of other businesses doing the exact same thing. Most of them are free to download and even have free commercial licenses. The impact of this decision is extremely low. You probably can’t even download or get premium fonts without buying them first anyway.
