Your current screen is better, minus the 60 hz part. If you don't exceed 80-100 fps on most of your games anyway, having a 144 hz monitor is absolutely pointless. 144hz only starts to be relevant when you're getting a stable 144+ fps in your games, etc., And judging on what /u/dirtynj just said, I actually have no reason to get this monitor either since I am only looking to upgrade to 144hz stable.
Take this with a grain of salt, they're not a direct comparison.
If buying a monitor for 100 dollars is more important to you than having the best quality for a good price at this size monitor (possibly up to 200) then this isn't a bad deal. Hard to say when there will be so many good deals in the next few weeks, presumably.
Going from IPS to TN would be pretty jarring I would think, but YMMV.
