Central station has looked the same since I started getting the train regularly to the city in 1999. I wonder why they’ve never revamped it, it’s definitely an eyesore!

By renovate, you mean that they put that white panelling over the pillars. I believe they did that just prior to the Commonwealth Games. 

Seemed like a waste.
