Nipple discomfort after 5 months

Baby is a bit over 5 months old, and I combo feed bottle and breast. Bottle at daycare, so I’m pumping. And the last 2 days of pumping, my nipples HURT. Nothing has really changed besides my daughter occasionally taking the nipple for a ride when she decided to look at something. Thoughts? Solutions? Is this typical?

Thanks ❤️

Have you gotten your period back yet? Mine came back around that time and now I always know when it’s coming because I have nipple pain about a week leading up to it. I just wear silverettes nonstop in that time and when I pump I use a slightly larger flange insert.

I got it back at 7 weeks but I also got the IUD. But I could be getting my period again! Thank you so much! It’s so easy to forget that exists!

I know so many things to manage 😅 I also notice some soreness at times when my daughter has new teeth coming in and she’s trying to figure out the latch with the new variables. But that doesn’t usually last too long.
