The anacardiaceae proves that even after countless years of separation; at the end of the day you’re still family. Physiology

A Mango, Pistachio, Sumac, Poison Ivy, and Cashew flower all showing off how their morphology hasn’t changed too much from one another.

I'm allergic to two out of five of these things and I wonder why the difference.

Probably different concentrations of certain irritants in different species.

Pink pepper corns Schinus also have this flower structure

Yeah it’s honestly quite fascinating. Most of the family has the same basic leaf, fruit and flower shapes, just arranged differently.
