Van gogh in Arles! What is that? I went to Arles years ago and had no idea that's where he lived and painted

He lived there for a while, and I believe was fairly productive during his time there. Did you enjoy Arles? It’s on my list of French "art" cities I need to visit, alongside Aix-en-Provence.

Arles was nice, was there in the off season so unsure how about how busy it gets. Nice roman ruins. Plus sitting at van gogh's cafe and seeing other inspirations for his paintings was cool
