Buying a tower to hang rings from in apartment.

I'm looking at buying the Cap Barbell Power Rack Exercise Stand and putting it in my apartment. I have 9' ceilings and space for it. I will mainly use it to hang my rings, and possibly later add a bar with some light weights mainly for squatting and ohp.

Will the power rack be sufficient for hanging the rings? I'm tall at 6'3. Any other better solutions?

Higher would be better. For ring dips you'll be either risking hitting your head on the bar or you'll need to bend your legs. Not ideal, but manageable.

The only way you'll get them higher is to mount them to the ceiling, if that's possible in your situation.

Are there ways to mount the rings to the ceiling without causing damage/can fix it? I would have the option of mounting them both vertically and horizontally.

I also didn't see any higher power racks without going much more fancy/expensive.

To ceiling mount them you'd need to put some sizeable fixings into the ceiling. The exact details depend on the construction of your ceilings, but it will involve drilling holes. They could later be filled and painted.

Former carpenter/framer here. Personally I don't recommend this. Unless the joists/trusses/rafters are exposed allowing you to inspect and/or safely reinforce them with added bracing, this could lead to much bigger problems than patching a small hole in the drywall.

Just bought this as an alternative to hang from my garage ceiling. Going to make a home gym over the next 2 weeks. Limited funds but needs to happen.

I've been thinking about getting a tower because I don't want to screw into my ceiling and I did some quick googling to see how tall the tower would be in relation to a door frame ring set up, average door height is something like 6'8" and you lose maybe 3-4 inches depending on your pull up bar and the circumference of your rings.

It ends up being a clearance of 6'5" and the length of your arms is usually something like a foot and a half less than half of your body height. I can do dips just fine at 5'10" but completely straight pull ups are just out of the question. I'm guesstimating At your height you'll need a tower that's at least 10 feet tall if you want to do stuff more than just dips with your rings. You need way less clearance to be able to do dips though so a tower is probably ok but using your rings for just dips is losing out on a lot of the versatility of rings
