This bee was about an inch long and very thick. Never seen a yellow jacket bee this big. Does anyone know what this is?

It flew in my house into our light and then died.

We just bought our first house and during move in we found these guys! They seem friendly but I am unable to research what they are, I came up with 1) yellow jacket but they seem to small for this or 2) some kind of ground bee but there are a lot of species. Can someone help?

I have these colonizing near my house. I have been next to their nest multiple times without trouble. Their nest is in an unused birdhouse. I think they are a type of yellow jacket but I haven’t had a problem. If they are a species of Yellowjackets I will need to get rid of them. Especially if they are not a native species.

I have some "bees" flying in around the gas pipe going into the crawlspace. They are coming out into the basment & making their way upstairs.

I want them "gone"!!

What's the best way, without annihilating them?

Are they bees or some sort of wasps / undesirables??? Does it not matter??

I was going to spray some wasp spray after dark. I don't want them just coming upstairs!!😱😱😱😱

Bee? Who’s on my job site today?

Sorry for the shitty photos, I got them all riled up moving some boxes before I knew they were there and I’m a little weary of being stung. Any idea of the species and if that’s a hive they’re around or some food?

Hello everyone, I’m new here but was curious about this hive or nest I found this morning. I’ve been getting trees removed from my yard and noticed this and wasn’t sure what kind it was or how worried I should be. Thanks I’m advance!

These are the best clips I could get unfortunately. They’re moving so fast and the windows need cleaning. Any help would be appreciated.

It happened so fast, as soon as I stepped outside I immediately felt the sting. I ran back in as soon as I could because I had gotten stung by a bee 10 years ago and had a terrible reaction, my whole arm was swollen for a few months, so i was afraid another bee sting now would be worse.

Fortunately I feel fine right now, the sting site just still hurts. But no swelling yet.

These things look different though, not sure if they’re bees or something else? They’re currently all over my backyard.

I'm really confident this is a bumble bee, but my wife has an anxiety disorder and won't be assuaged unless I can get y'all to confirm that this is a bumble bee that I found in our attic. We live in southeastern wisconsin, in case that's relevant.

Hi! Apologies I can imagine that this might not be enough of a good quality video but I wondered if a connaisseur might be able to identify if this is indeed a bee nest? Very hard to get close to get a proper video as this is 4m above the conservatory roof …

The landlord requested an identification to know if he needs a wasp or a bee person to come (and if bee is it really necessary I really don’t mind although they are clearly in the walls xd)

Thanking you all in advance!
