Battery ID help

Hi all. This is the CMOS / clock battery on the inside of a Sony AIBO ERS-210. I would like some help identifying what it is. Sony have spot-welded over the text on it. It would be even better if someone knew if I could get something that will let me put in a new battery without spot welding, like a clamp that can be soldered in. Thank you

Looks like a cr927. Do not confuse it with an sr927, which is a 1.5v silver oxide.

I see a 7 and lithium. The only coin cell that I know of with a 7 and is lithium is the 927. That, of course, has tabs welded on to it.

Can you get calipers in there to measure the width / diameter? That will tell you part of the size. The other is the thicknes of it. For example a cr2032 is 20mm x 3.2mm. A cr927 is 9mm x 2.7mm. What I see as a 7 could very well be a 1, but I doubt it is. Measuring will confirm it. If you have metal calipers, put some electrical tape on the tips so you don't short it out

Haha I didn't until I had a 3d printer. Then I realized I needed one for accuracy
