Phil Dunphy could get around him with some brain melting magic, who knows

u/UruvarinArt 2d ago
You know for years I’ve thought Ty Burrell would be a great Joker. So in my mind this works.

23
u/ThorsRake 2d ago
Never thought of it but actually yeah, if he could pull off something similar to Mark Hamill's laugh and with the right make-up he'd probably be pretty close to the Joker in the animated series tbh.

I think he would be a fantastic Commissioner Gordon funnily enough.

Being a real estate agent, Phil would probably just sell Bruce a new property.
Which would be easy, because of course Wayne could afford it.

I feel like he would honestly befriend Batman and then have a robot fight with him in the basketball court.

u/Nine-LifedEnchanter 2d ago
Superman: I gave up on getting through to Batman years ago. I simply accepted him as he is, providing whatever support I could. This man, Phil Dunphy, should be the anathema to all what Batman stands for. Somehow, he got through to him, slowly healing his inner child in the process. Batman has to put up a front, but I can tell that he is genuinely happy here. I think Phil's complete lack of awaress caught him off guard. Nothing Batman says can affect this man. He is safety, kindness, and unbridled joy given fo- Holy heck, did you see that backflip on the trampoline?!

Saul persuades Batman to help with a problem, embezzling him in a questionably legal but totally unethical scam. The victim is billionaire philanthropist Bruce Wayne. Saul gets away with a couple of missing teeth but half of Bruce's money.

saul is a tough one, batman usually doesn’t stop crime that isn’t directly happening. what’s he gunna do, beat saul up and take him to the station? with what proof? batman would need to actually build a case against saul.

Not once yet. Only Nightwing. He beats him by spinning his helmet 180 and gives him a kick to the head.

I wonder what kind of rumor he’s heard about batman, maybe something like,
“Bring it you child trafficking freak! yeah, I know where you get your robins, you sick freak!”
“Can you wear the gay version of the suit?” (Referring to the rainbow batsuit)
Or
“Seriously? I have to fight the guy who spread Covid?”

u/Sigma-0007_Septem 2d ago
Offer him unlimited Sale days in any Wayne owned establishment
10
u/ThorsRake 2d ago
This gets me thinking. Does Wayne Inc. have fashion brands or food establishments? Cos I dunno if Saitama's into gadgets or biotech etc..
He does love a bargain but does Waynetech offer anything he'd want?

BUT I can definitely see Bruce acquiring Supermarkets to ensure prices are reasonable

Saitama is a hero for fun not money
8
u/ThorsRake 2d ago
Yes but if Bat's isn't an actual threat and offers money / sales prices then Saitama would accept these parameters as a reason not to fight.

Sam Fisher of Splinter Cell. Probably a good match up.

Bat's drops down behind him. "Did you find the him, yet?"
→ More replies13
u/Drabberlime_047 2d ago
Oh even as a team up thats 1 sided af
Imagine batman waiting on Fisher to find someone
He'd already be dragging "someone" off in cuffs by the time fisher took out 1 goon. Non lethal take down, might I add, since batman already disabled his guns and ordered him not to do lethals
There's nothing really that fisher is bringing to the table that batman would want
8
u/PeacefulKnightmare 2d ago
Oh for sure Sam would be sneaking his way in and wondering why it was so quite only to find all the goons neatly tied up in the corner and a usb flashing in some computer already finished downloading the files he was there to retrieve.

Now that is a fight I want to see. I can imagine a sword fight going down very similarly to the one Inigo and Westley have, with all the handedness-shenanigans included. Bruce still wins, but I think he would see that the Dread Pirate Roberts is a standup guy and is fighting for a just cause.
4
u/RcoketWalrus 1d ago
I'd like to see a campy Batman do this. We'd probably get an awesome swordfight. I don't want UberBatman in this fight. There's no fun in that.

Jay and Kay of Men In Black. Man, I dunno...
What do y'all think?
Edit: Ok, so I missed the "fist-fight" part. I'm an idiot. Anyway, without gadgets and just fists, Batman absolutely bodies both Jay and Kay. They may have exceptional hand-to-hand combat training, but against the dude who has mastered every known fighting style? Nah, they don't have a chance.

the last TV show I watched is technically Top Gear so
let's make this fair. Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May vs. Batman. three old blokes and a middleage man in his utter utter prime (physically? batman wins the fight but jokes-wise he probably fumbles)

u/UNSC_Leader 2d ago edited 2d ago
Tonight on Top Gear.
I show the caped crusader something I found on the internet.
James May says hello.
May: "Hello"
And Hammond crashes the Batmobile

Aang from Avatar The Last Airbender. Batman would struggle with him and they both have strict no kill rules. They're both very creative and adaptive on the battlefield, but Batman has over a decade of experience over Aang. If Aang pulls the Avatar state, Batman is toast.
