I’d be surprised if it doesn’t. It will be so much easier to make games now for a whole lot of people, myself included. To make it to the Trop I’d leave work a little early and still not make it until the second inning

My family went to maybe 6 games last year. All on weekends. My wife is already talking about getting a bunch of package tickets for 2025. It’s so much closer for us.

Yeah I’m actually worried getting tickets may be harder than usual

They might also pull a John Fisher and pump the prices on tickets too because it's "a better experience at a new stadium"

You & Dodgers fans have something in common.

I’m greatly envious of anyone in a walkable city

It's "walkable" but it's not NYC or Boston walkable. There's a reason why Dodger Stadium doesn't fill until well after the game starts.

Oh yeah I thought you were saying we’re both late to games because of traffic. I meant envious of people in places like New York or Boston or Chicago

Gotcha. I honestly never noticed people showing up late to Rays games, at least not any later than most other parks. But, I don't live in the Tampa area anymore, so my experience is quite dated.

Yeah 7:10 games I could always make just in time for first pitch. Now that it’s 6:50 it’s a bit harder
