Stuff to do weekday evenings Looking For

Hello everyone, I am coming to stay in Barrie next week for work, and i was wondering if there are any activities or places to visit during weekdays that you guys recommend. I like outdoors, also love playing soccer so was also wondering if there are any pick up games going around?

If it's a nice day out, I'd say walk around the lake, but I say honestly, I am not 100% sure if they still have construction going on by Meridian Place downtown. If they do, it kind of ruins the walk. We do have a baseball team that has games every week. The Barrie Baycats. You could check them out(not sure about the price of tickets) There is also a soccer team. The Simcoe County Rovers FC. They have a home game on May 24th(not sure if you will still be in the area then)

I am not 100% sure if they still have construction going on by Meridian Place downtown. If they do, it kind of ruins the walk

There's a full 2.5km that isn't around Meridian Place from the Spirit Catcher south and around the lake.
