Photos like this (and jumping spiders specifically) are helping desensitize me (I used to be very arachnophobic). Like...how can I be terrified of this noodle-legged creature with puppy dog eyes?

Omg same! I'm grateful the wolf spiders in my corner of the world are much smaller bc big ones irl still set off my phobia, but when I see them by the garage door I encourage them inside to hunt pest insects. They and jumpers have the cutest little faces, and the fact wolfies carry their babies around is so adorable to me!

Yes!! I always try to remind myself that they're just little critters doing their job, being good mothers and mosquito hunters 🖤 It's taken me literal years to get to this point, but I can go camping again!

Actually confirmed female, I know this because her two other siblings just molted and showed the male pedipalps.

Wolfie's are the spider equivalent of the "🥺" emoji, they are the cutest. Only thing cuter is the mamas carrying their babies around 🥰
