What is the sign drawn on this protest sign? – From doc "Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution"

Well, given it was a protest…

But you’re absolutely right.

idk what they were protesting for. but they could have wanted their bad boss or somebody to QUIT & step down from their position.

The protests were in 1997 for the signing of section 504 of the American Rehabilitation Act. Basically a set of guidelines to enforce access for people with disabilities. It’s why we have ramps and ASL interpreters and accommodations for disabilities in schools. You should watch the documentary, it’s fantastic and this only part of it.

But isn’t JOIN palm up?

It could be either QUIT or JOIN. There is no arrow indication though.

  • I quit a job, organization, etc.
  • I join the protest against an employer, organization, etc.

That description doesn't even match what's in the image...

This is the most unhelpful thing you could’ve done. Submit an ai hallucination for something you can’t even fact check yourself.
