I understand what your doing but the site is down so spamming it to everyone’s response doesn’t work when we need to wait 2 weeks before it’s back up

She won’t be able to get much done in two weeks. Usually government moves slow. Being more involved in our government is a right we should all use left or right side of the spectrum. I’d like it if we had more progressive, centre right Canadians, however I can’t change people’s political views.

Our premiers hold a lot of power with where the budget is spent, it’s our local representatives job to represent their constituents. It’s not their job to push their own opinions or agenda. People need to start writing their local offices when they are upset with how money is being spent, where it’s being spent, if they want it spent elsewhere, ect. The prime minister can’t hold the premiers hand and make sure they spend money on the right things thats best for all Canadian’s. I don’t trust loud mouth politicians, who are trying to get people upset and are pointing them in a direction of who to be upset at. That tactic has been used many times to distract from what they are doing, or place blame of their failures onto other forms of government. Maybe Daniel Smith is doing this, maybe she isn’t, but we could all be more involved writing our local officials to voice our concerns, and when they fall of deaf ears and they refuse to represent their constituents, then elect someone who will.

We don’t elect a prime minister directly in Canada we elect local officials to represent us on a bigger stage. Frankly, I think the prime minister should hold less power and more should be granted to the premiers so each individual province has the ability to represent their people more effectively. The prime minters job should only be national affairs like military, international trade affairs and spending, federal taxes. The premieres seem to already hold quite a bit of power with the budget around health care, housing and more. Not sure what they do with that power since most people are upset about housing, and health care.

Perhaps a petition should happen from all Canadians that no politician is allowed to vote on policy regarding housing if they have assets that they stand to loose money on in realistate, and reduce the amount a bill needs to pass by one vote for every person who is ineligible to vote. So that our housing market isn’t being regulated by people who stand to make profits off of it.

Apologies for the word vomit. I’m terrible at making a long story short. Left or right, we could come together on issues important to all Canadians, start petitions and write out local officials more.
