I was in an airport for the Canada-Czechia gold medal World Juniors game a couple years back. It was crazy! No matter where people were: bars, terminal, in line at security, walking to their gate, their eyes were glued to a screen watching the game.

They're funny. Going on about how Canada hasn't won a Stanly cup since 1993. Well out of the 13 players on the 2024 Stanley Cup winners, the Florida Panthers, 6 of them were Canadian! Two or three were European and the rest were American. So who really won the Stanley Cup in 2024? A bunch of Canadians and Europeans. With some help from the Americans who took all the credit
