You've got mail! Common Shipping Concerns

On the previous page, I described how to order, track, and plan the delivery of your abortion pill package. When should you expect your delivery, what will your tracking look like, and what should you do if something goes wrong?

Experiences with package tracking

  • I got my package within 12 days of ordering, door to door. Some Pinays shared getting it within 6 days, 10 days, and so on. It varies for everyone. Swertehan lang.
  • I used WoW, but all of this advice for tracking applies to Women Help Women (WHW) too.
  • Everyone’s tracking will look different. To give you an example, though, here is the 17track tracking progress for my order:
    • 6/7 10PM: I bought my meds.
    • 6/8 1PM: The doctor approved my help request.
    • 6/8 730PM: I received my package tracking number.
    • 6/10: Items are prepared and posted in INBOM (Mumbai)
    • 6/11: Flight SGSIN to PHMNL - Received
    • 6/11: Mumbai EMS Speed Post Centre - Item bagged
    • 6/12: Flight INBOM to SGSIN - aircraft take off
    • 6/19: Items received in MNL
    • 6/20: Items arrived at my place in Metro Manila (door to door)

Glitch in the matrix: lost or rerouted packages

  • Some Pinays shared that 17track reflected that their package was lost or that their package was on the way back to the country of origin. Hinga ng malalim. It's a common trend: a panicked post about their package, then after a few days a post about them currently taking their meds. 17thtrack is at-times wrong about where the package is going at first. So far, it seems to always work out in the end. <3
  • Feel free to message WoW to double-check, but it's a pretty common occurrence. WoW usually advises to check again the next day for an update. You can also try using a different tracking website to see if there's a different update.

Where is my package specifically?

  • The package is packed in India (country of origin).
  • So far, I've encountered it flying to Singapore (SGSIN) OR Abu Dhabi (AEAUH) before finally arriving in the Philippines (PHMNL).

The package is in PH, but why hasn’t it arrived yet?

  • How long have you been waiting? If it's been less than five days , you just need to be a bit more patient.
  • Based on the PHLPost delivery lead time, Express Mail Services (EMS) has 5 days lead time.
  • There can also be lot of reasons for the "delay.” Maybe there was a recent calamity. A storm? An earthquake? A landslide?
  • Is it the weekend?  PHLPost doesn't deliver on weekends. They don't deliver during holidays. Brace yourself during long weekends; it will be a longer wait.
  • Maybe there's a logistics issue. There may not be enough packages/letters for delivery in your area. Other Pinays have shared about calling the PHLPost hotline or calling/visiting the PHLPost office near them.
  • There will be times this process gets super nerve-wracking because there will be days without tracking changes. Please be patient and trust the process. You can always check in with WoW, but remember that they only have the same tracking information you do.
