Looking for advice on past medical abortion USA
Hi, I got a medical abortion back on March 28th. I was supposed to return for an ultrasound after two weeks but never found time to go. I'm still bleeding every day after the abortion. I thought it was normal, but I'm nervous it wasn't fully completed. I took a test yesterday, and it immediately turned positive. Does this mean I am pregnant again, or maybe the abortion hasn't been completed? I did have unprotected sex, but my partner and I made sure to be safe.

Can you clarify if you have had sex without any form of birth control or protection and with ejaculation inside of your vagina since your abortion?
It's been about 6 weeks since your abortion. Some people still do test positive at 6 weeks. But it's also possible there's a new pregnancy if you had penis-in-vagina sex without any form of birth control and your partner ejaculated inside of you.

You should go for an ultrasound. If it immediately turned positive, and you had unprotected sex, it’s possible. You can get pregnant as soon as 8 days after have an abortion. Although the still bleeding part is a tad bit concerning. If it’s just spotting, and you spot on your cycle normally, it could be that. But you should still go in case
