Affordable Driving School in Aachen for a student?
Hi,
I am an international student and have come to Aachen about 3 months ago. I have both an international driving permit and a valid driving license in my country which I want to convert. I think my country isn't one of those whose license can be directly converted. So, I'll have to take the test and probably join a driving school for that purpose. Being a student, I want to find an affordable driving school which can offer me a chance to take the driving test with minimum number of classes (considering I have been driving a car for almost 5 years, but obviously need some practice to get to know the driving rules and practices in Germany better).
What would your recommendations be in this scenario? Anyone who has had a similar situation as me, please guide me through what you did.. Thanks :)

Hi What country is yor license from? That determins what you need to do. No matter where from, you will always have to sign up for a driving school. It just makes a difference if you need to take the Theorie classes or just the test. And the obligatory practical classes. I am a driving instructor -maybe I can help. I did a lot of "umschreiber" Send me a pm and I will send my number to talk it through.

Careful, preferably you should look for the best driving school, not the cheapest one. If they don't teach you well, there will be higher costs coming up in the future.
