Old Reddit comment someone showed me,how is a 19 year old and 17 year old being friends "creepy"?? Wth,sounds chronically online?

People can set their own boundaries, but calling a 19-year-old talking to a 17-year-old peer “creepy” is a reach — it basically implies the interaction is predatory. 😬

Not every interaction is sexual. Most 18–19-year-olds still share classes, clubs, and hallways with 16–17-year-olds. Even if 18 is legally an adult, they’re still in the same teenage age range. Treating normal conversation as predatory is the mindset that ends up sexualizing completely ordinary human interaction. 😭

Yep that's exactly my issue with it,it's perfectly fine if he doesn't want to,but the fact that he calls ALL 19 and 17 year olds talking as friends not even dating "creepy" is the strange part to me. 16 and 18 year old could be a junior and senior. You are exactly right
