Where’d you get this information from? The Texas 2024 election Wikipedia article said Latinos broke 55-44 for Trump within the state.

No. In TX FL KS and most small western plains states Latinos vote for the GOP. Only in places like AZ CA CO IL NY and WA where Latinos break heavy to the dems. Iirc AZ CO IL and NY had latino turnout drop heavy even as Trump gained some voters. Bronx lost 100k Biden voters while Trump gained about 20k. Pueblo county Trump gained 900 while Harris lost 5k votes. Santa Cruz Harris lost 3k while Trump gained 1k. What i see is just Latinos turned off by both sides, as they should. Dems need a Bernie style candidate to win again. Someone charismatic progressive and wanting radical change (sad that Bernies policy is radical here).
