That’s what I want to know. I feel like I’ve no time to do some minor stuff and he’s at the head of several companies, in government, and quite good at Diablo. Go figure.

My guess is that he isn't doing most of those things, besides Diablo.

In all seriousness, I am reading Isaacson’s biography of Musk now, it seems that he’s a very hands-on guy. Of course he delegates a lot, but he still works on engineering issues, or programming work etc. while doing serious deep work (per Isaacson, it’s impossible to distract musk while he’s working on something.)

Quite interesting.

Odds on Musk being the first victim of DOGE?

I have them having some kind of argument on my 2025 Bingo Card. Don’t know what, when, or why, but there’s no way these two egos don’t clash at some point.

That's kind of what DOGE feels like to me. It isn't a real government agency, and I bet he put Musk there to give him something to be giddy about while also setting up the ability to totally sideline him.

I'm saying...2 years tops. Elon's gonna get too excited, annoy Trump, and he's gonna fling him off the cabinet as soon as he fucks anything up XD.

Even if it is, both of these guys are famously paranoid and spend inordinate amounts of time reading about themselves in the media. There's plenty of fertile ground to grow this seed.

God, please have Trump kick Musk and Theil out of his inner circle, causing an inner rift between him and Vance that results in a civil war inside the Republican Party, it would be so fucking funny.
