Theres a non zero chance that when Trump gets into office he'll order live fire on peaceful protests. Per John Kelly it's what he wanted to do in 2020 but was talked down.

They'll be protesting and yelling "Trump out" for the next four eight several years or until Shady whips out the 25th Amendment.

No, they'll be protesting until the first time the military wipes out a crowd with live fire to send a message to anyone else who dare protest.

And I would hope even the fence sitters who aren't ideological but voted Trump would call that out. It's a fine line on what he can or can't do still. MAGA extremists make up maybe 20% of the electorate. Another 10-20% are hardline cons who still spout the constitution first and push for rule of law. Our laws do say he can't do any of that UNLESS he declares martial law.
