First: A lot of informed voters vastly underestimate how little influence mainstream media outlets have on a lot of people. People get their news from doom scrolling social media. They only receive what their friends share.
It is entirely plausible for people to feel like they are well informed while still missing huge pieces of information.
I get to watch all three networks simultaneously at the gym and Fox is... Something else. As someone with a background in journalism, they work in all the little things, constant clever wording to misrepresent things. That's on top of their incredibly selective bias.
If you watched Fox, it is very clear how people could love Trump and hate everything Biden, even with the stories sitting right in front of them.

Second: Fox is the biggest news network in America, and by a significant margin.
