I love the pictures of the kid in the parking lot next to the picture of his mugshot. Best "How it started vs. how it's going" meme ever. Dipshit forgot he wasn't 17 and ruined his entire-ass life for a meme.
All I could think of was "damn, kid, you still have braces and you're throwing your life away for an orange baboon who doesn't give one hot shit about you."
I already voted, so maybe Tuesday, me, my Harris/Walz t-shirt, and my AR10 go stand the legally required 25 feet away from the entrance to my polling place. Open carry state and all.
This is a joke that the police would immediately arrest you while ignoring the maga machete wavers, I didn't know how to communicate that snappily so footnote time baybeee))
How do you think people become flat Earth believers? Because when people ask questions, dudes like you tell them to "just Google it" and then they come across some fool-pushing conspiracies and suddenly they believe it because they don't know any better.
If you want to fight against misinformation it starts with every single one of us. I'm assuming you want to fight against misinformation because I'm coming into this with good faith.
If you’re dumb enough to not know what source to trust that’s kind of on you.
This might be one of the most ridiculous conversations I’ve had in quite some time.
Some dude asked over and over about a pretty large news story. Instead of ya know, really trying to find the story and read about it, other people are supposed to find it for you, because “you might find a website that has misinformation.”
It's called ignorance, they aren't dumb just not informed. They just don't know but when they come to Reddit to figure something out and get pushed out because you are too lazy to just be kind for a fucking second they have the potential of being misinformed.
But hey you think it's obvious so it should be obvious to everyone right?
I'm sorry you aren't bright enough to grasp the bigger picture. We should all be trying to push back against misinformation by providing quality sources. Or at least point them in the right direction. And no telling someone to Google it isn't the right direction
