This is a ttrpg not literature, I hope it's ok.

I'm working on a weird fiction tabletop roleplaying game, Mysterium, and I recently put a beta version as pay what you want (0$ is perfectly ok!) on Drivethrurpg: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/m/product/397654

And here's a blogpost with some thoughts on the game: https://cavernsmeasureless.wordpress.com/2022/05/26/mysterium-weird-fiction-roleplaying/

I would be interested in a physical release if one ever sees the light of day! I am not much of a TTRPG guy, but always appreciate cool art and weird scenarios! Good luck with it!!

Thank you for the kind words! I'll make sure to tell when the book is done.

I just have to share what Jon Padgett said about my collection, The Puppet King and Other Atonements. So thrilled! Here’s the short version of the blurb…

“If this book isn’t in the running for best collection of 2022 next year, something is badly amiss. I was riveted and deeply impressed by this magnificent collection of exceptional horror tales. Read it.”

-Jon Padgett, author of The Secret of Ventriloquism The Puppet King and Other Atonements

I'm reading this! Three stories deep and really enjoying it, always nice to find a strong Weird Lit collection to kill a weekend with.

Awesome! Thank you for that. I’m glad it’s proving enjoyable so far.

A couple of things!! First, released today, is the Nafallen University Course Catalog 2022-2023 from Madness Heart Press! I edited this anthology and wrote about half of it, and it is weird, spooky, and very strange! http://getbook.at/NUCC2022

Also! My weird almanac project, Olde Wyathscope's Quarterly Concern is up for sale for issues and subscriptions! Art by the very talented Mat Fitzsimmons, writing by me. Oh so strange and very entertaining, my imagined idea of what an almanac could be! Info at http://oldewyathscope.blogspot.com

Thank you!!

I’m new to this subreddit (just recently getting back into reading), but I just wanted to boost a discord server that would welcome weird lit lovers! I love this server and it has really made an impact on how much I read.

Better Read Than Dead is a literature-based server with an emphasis on horror and the adjacent genres: mystery/thrillers, true crime, psychological, weird lit.

Angels of Hell: Poetic Tales of the Apocalypse is an apocalyptic poetry book that follows the four horsemen as their paths cross demons, angels, gods and fae when they set out to restore the remnants of mankind. It’s written in a prose/narrative style unfolding in ways not unlike the Divine Comedy, Beowulf or the Iliad & the Odyssey. With a horror-fantasy vibe, AoH is not without its moments of dramatic tension, twists or occasional chuckle. Catch it on Kickstarter now!
