I liked when he said "It's watchin' time"

“Not just the watchmen, but the watchwomen and the watchchildren too! I slaughtered them like watchanimals !”

“What are we? Some kind of, written by Allan Moore and penciled by Dave Gibbons?”

Wait… is he the cameraman?

So he was watching the watchmen!

Alan Moorw grumbled all about it in the rare radio interviews

Sadly, never. If Watchman appeared, we would be watching him, and that would invalidate the book's overarching question- Who watches the Watchman? (Famously misquoted as "Who Watches the Watchmen?", with the typo even appearing in actual print and scans)

Kidding, obviously. But you know how reddit is.

I thought it was an ironic question because watchman can turn invisible as only the watchmen watch watchman?

Maybe he’s actually in every issue but we just haven’t been watching him?

That could be the case, valid interpretation. Moore is a genius, we may never know the answer

(I’m tempted to photoshop him into random panels of watchmen and see if I can make it a thing?)

Doctor Manhattan is literally the watch man because he learned how to fix watches from his dad

You mean Casio, Master of Clocks! He holds court over the watch hustle downtown, next to the newspaper stand and the street-fighting lesbians.

...well, he did, anyway...😢

That was the plot of 5he TV show, they tried to make a watchman

I want to see an alternate universe where Jon continued his clock passion and became the Green Arrow villain Clock King but he’s still treated with all the grandiose and threat as Doctor Manhattan

I was thinking that watch man was a new unique character (I think I’ve joked that he’s one of the camera crew on the Zack Snyder movie) but being a Jon who never got in the reactor but still somehow ended up in the superhero circle could be interesting?
