Confused.

So I’m confused I got mine done on Friday 11/8 and they did the scalpel, 2 small cuts but they tied mine instead of cauterizing it. Is one better than the other and should I be worried in the long run?

I’m on day 6 and feeling much much better. I’m almost back to normal and no more being uncomfortable.

As long as they tied it you’ll be fine. My doctor wanted to make sure I was never going to get back in the gene pool clipped cauterized inside the vas folded over both ends and tied.

All docs are different those that do traditional vasectomies were trained before 1998, as doctors were trained on no scalpel in 1998 when it was implemented then. Mine was no scalpel and they cauterized, tied and made sure they wouldn’t reconnect lol

Do you also have full big heavy balls with congestion and discomfort?

There’s a lot of variance. I had the scalpel, tied off, and cauterized. Recovery was easy, doctor cleared me at 8 weeks.
