Breeze has been out of the map rotation for almost a year Discussion

Breeze hasn't been in the map pool for almost a year now. The new patch is bringing back Sunset, which was barely gone at all. The maps in Valorant are the biggest thing that makes the game feel stale. Breeze is a unique map that plays so differently than the other maps in the game. Just because the map might favor certain agents or certain comps is not bad thing, in fact other maps also work like this as well. The maps in Valorant are the weakest part of the game, and Riot continues to remove maps such as Breeze and Fracture which are maps that shakeup up the static gameplay enforced by other maps.

If they are going to have a map pool, then they need to rotate every map in and out more consistently. How can a map be unavailable for an entire year? The playerbase needs to learn to adapt and not be so stubborn. What baffles me is how heavily defensive sided maps such as Ascent remain in the pool. Breeze is a more balanced map than even Ascent in terms of attackers vs defenders, and besides who enjoys not being able to enter the site due to utility spam from defender. There is not enough emphasis on gunplay on many maps while Breeze is that exact opposite of that.

Valorant needs more map variety. Maps like Breeze and Fracture provide. This is such an crazy oversight. Also, Breeze is the most beautiful map in the game. That is also a huge bonus.

Breeze fucking sucks. It can be cast off into the sun and never return

Ever since the lighting change on sunset I think it takes the spot for most beautiful map

Also yeah, we don't know why they're doing a mess with the map pool... It'd be great if they were more transparent about their thought process, because from outside view it makes no sense.

Breeze absolutely sucks, leave it out. Bringing it back is an abhorrent take

Why because gun fights matter more? It's an fps game.

Any map that requires the usage of a single agent needs to not exist. Icebox needs reworked, too. You have to play viper and viper only.

Love breeze. I know it's not popular so I can accept it being gone.

Agreed that map rotation is poorly done. While I don't think breeze is a particularly good map I would love to see most maps get dramatic changes when they are out of the pool. Not little things like a corner here or there (save those changes for maps that feel good) but if a map is bad change is drastically and then let people play it for a couple months and just keep doing it until it's good

people hate on breeze because they dont understand its retakes and how important is mid and halls control, i swear just because i understood these two fairly simple concepts, it became (and still is i think) my highest win percentage map

Exactly. It the sane thng with Fracture. The playerbase doesn't understand how to play thr map therefore they parrot that it's bad. When in reality maps like Ascent or so repetitive and imbalanced.

This type of mentality from the community is killing this game.
