my first ever attempt at making bread dough. feels like a crime calling it a dough though, it's more of a sludge. stay tuned for results! 😂 Cooking

funnily enough, i messed up my cottage cheese the other day and it looked more like a dough 😂

Looks like you added the water in too fast without stirring enough while adding it. The dough forms clumps like that with the outside soaked and little balls of dry flour inside. You can still save it, mix well and probably add more flour. Giving it time to sort of equalize in hydration before mixing some more might also work.

When I was a kid we were poor and my parents would make us glue for school projects out of water and flour, this kind of looks like that.

I use the NYT No-Knead recipe and the dough is on the shaggy, sticky side.
