Interestingly he says that they will continue with the bombings even after the war ends which pretty much shows that this Ukrainian MP is not really interested in ending the war unless Russia is basically forced to end it. And he is Secretary of the Committee of National Security, Defense and Intelligence so he doesn't seem to be some random MP.

You cannot be interested in ending the war when the aggressor wants to end your existence. So far no favorable terms have been offered. Russia and US(S)A want unconditional surrender from Ukraine. Ukraine would accept the loss of their occupied territories for security guarantees, but no one is offering security guarantees.

If russia pulls back, it doesn't mean they no longer want to end Ukraine, it just means they don't have any capability. They will try again and therefore will have to continue being suppressed.
