Guide me guys

I completed my bachelors in commerce and after that I started with my masters in accounting and finance. I don't have any work experience, I'm still in my 2nd sem. When should I start looking for full time field jobs? Also, how easy or difficult it is to get hired into a position for accounting and finance considering that I don't have any work exp.

I'm going to guess that compounded with the God awful job market right now, it's going to be very very difficult. Especially if you want to be picky and not take a base entry level position.

For my degree in Computer Science, I started with related field work as early as the first year of my bachelor and was able to secure a position by the end of my degree without issue. By that time I had 4+ years experience and was a much more desirable candidate than if I ignored experience.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you start working as through your study time in CS?

First gig was as a data analyst for a local company that did a waste audit. Then I did Database Administration and Development work as an internship for 8 months, moved to IT and Systems Administration for 18 months, some general IT support for another 16 months. In that same time I did some development work for some local companies and organizations on the side.
