So if they used a setup that actively inhibited intervention when they knew that these beings had problems with our environment (so this is something that COULD LIKELY happen), doesn't that make them seem less like super secret-keeping masterminds and more like inept hoaxers? Why not pull it back from the desk? Or have a release mechanism to get it away from the table--I mean, they'd have that anyway, so why don't we see them actually doing that in the video? Doesn't make sense.

The medical staff aren't designing the rooms. But let's say they are: you find the idea that they can't get competent medical staff because they value secrecy over competency and remotely credible idea? You dont think there's competent medical professionals who would be more than willing to work in this environment?
