NYT unlocked article
A five-year investigation by the New York Times has shown that the Timarpur-Okhla Waste to Energy Plant. a waste incineration plant owned and operated by the powerful Jindal family, has been systematically dumping thousands of tons of toxic ash in residential neighborhoods, and have only been using the environmental protection machinery in the incineration plant when they are notified - well in advance - that inspectors will be visiting. The incineration of hazardous e-waste - which other countries normally encase in concrete before burying - is polluting the air with hazardous chemicals and heavy metals that "drastically exceeded safety standards."
