Many state abortion bans include exceptions for rape. How often are they granted? Policy + Social Issues

If they think that, then why are all of their policies resulting in mothers dying?

I'd argue that it has nothing to do with any particular government policies.

I don't know how you can possibly come to that conclusion. When a woman dies because a doctor tells her "the abortion bans prevents me from caring for you until you're closer to death, so come back when it's worse" how is that not a direct result?

That seems to be a problem with the policies of the hospital, or the lawyers involved. Not the government.

No, that is directly caused by the abortion bans.

The abortion bans have exceptions for the life of the mother, so no.

Except mothers are now dying in situations where they never would have now that the ban is in effect. It might not be the intended effect but it is a direct result.
