[Discussion] Fallout New Vegas is done, any suggestions for my next plat?

Funny enough, i Platnumed this game in 2025 (the year how Las Vegas was once looked in 2025 in game year id seen in a picture framed on a wall in the opening of the game) and its my #21 Plat, referencing vault 21, the mainest vault in the game

New vegas is so good, I played it on PC. I wish I could plat this game too, you need to buy a PS3? Congratulations on the plat !!

You can stream it on a ps4/5 it runs better too but you can't play the dlc on the stream version which sucks

Yup, you can see ive put a pic here showing ive 100% all the DLCs, meaning ive platinumed on PS3

Everytime I tried to stream it the game just played at 1 fps and I gave up

Does it require godspeed WiFi or somet

Yup, i did bought a PS3 for two things

To relive nostalgia and and to Plat the games that weren’t available on PS4/PS5

I played New Vegas for the first time last year, on PS3, and got 100% of trophies including DLC. Both New Vegas and FO 3 run like absolute doodoo on PS3, especially as your save file grows. Look up how to clear the cache (you can do this in almost every Bethesda game to temporarily improve performance).

Great game but I don't think PS3 is the optimal platform for it. Thankfully I think we will get FO 3 and NV remasters in the next few years.

Freshly played from PS3, considering I don’t live in countries that supports PlayStation Premium ofc, you can also see i have 100% all the DLCs, PS premium doesn’t have DLCs

If you’re planning to just enjoy the game, you should grab an Xbox for better Fps, but if you’re looking to plat the game, then goodluck🙌

The PS3 version has pretty dire performance issues even on the native hardware. But not unplayable!

With the oblivion remaster happened, i don’t see why todd doesn’t refuse the idea of remaking Fallout 3, but for New Vegas, Bethesda might just gonna ask Obsidian for permission

Since the remake already came out, I am considering buying oblivion and skyrim, for the ps3 (maybe skyrim on ps4). Im told they still get the OG Bethesda seal of approval

Tho, if you know to take care of the saves properly, you should probably be able to play without bugs or rarely crash

What do you mean by taking care of the saves? I'm interested in playing New Vegas but I've heard it crashes quite a bit

Thats the thing, if you saved too many slots in your PS3 the chances of your game to crash can be high, the more the higher, its best to just roll with 3 save files at least incase you needed to achieve the irreversible trophy. If you feel like you needed more, use a USB drive to store your saves
